Purpose
Great entrepreneurial ventures start with diverse minds coming together in collaboration. The Rising Entrepreneurial Leaders Association (RELA) empowers students through education, networking, business experience, and community impact, inspiring and supporting future business leaders in order to create positive change and innovation around the world.
Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic community of driven individuals passionate about entrepreneurship and business management, with values centered around innovation, collaboration, practical learning, social responsibility, and effective altruism.

How do I join RELA?
You can join an RELA club nearby (currently, there is only one location at Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers, NY) or start your own RELA chapter if you are not located near a pre-existing RELA club. Send an email to risingentrepreneurialleaders@gmail.com for more information about joining RELA or starting an RELA chapter.
Who is behind RELA?
RELA was founded by Sophie Zhang, the current president of the organization. The 2023-2024 officers for the club are President Sophie Zhang, Vice President Nathaniel Hom, Secretary Vanessa Aboagyewaa, Treasurer Aiden Caba, and Outreach Officer/Historian Kristy Belesaca.
Do I need any business experience to start?
Nope! RELA is an organization that helps everyone (including those without any business experience) develop their ideas, skills, and visions related to business/entrepreneurship. Members earn business experience, learn how to start their own businesses, and turn their concepts into a reality!
